Lewis will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 24th-28th. This is a national event that takes place each year to promote drug awareness and prevention. At Lewis, we use this week to encourage our students to make overall healthy choices. Each day, students will be invited to come to school dressed in accordance with a specific theme, and the class in each grade level with the most participation will have their picture featured on the morning news.
Monday: Wear RED today and pledge to live the healthy way!
Tuesday: Give drugs the BOOT! Wear your favorite pair of boots to stomp out drugs!
Wednesday: Don't get mixed up in drugs! Wear mix-matched clothing today!
Thursday: Sock it to drugs! Wear your silliest socks to school today!
Friday: Join the TEAM against drugs! Wear your favorite team shirt or jersey.
We hope that you will join us in celebrating and modeling healthy choices at home as well!
